Yaldei Ohr is a four week summer volunteer program on Migdal Ohr’s Zoharim campus in Israel. Volunteers spend a month living and working with their Zoharim brothers, building and fostering meaningful relationships with their Israeli counterparts through activities which include sports, carpentry, horseback riding, working in a winery and more.
The impact on both the Israeli boys and the volunteers is extraordinary, and the bonds they forge last well beyond their summers together.
Volunteers will have the opportunity to perform meaningful and impactful chessed, experience high level learning, participate in amazing Tiyulim and build life-long relationships which will enrich their own lives and the lives of their brothers at Zoharim.
After this one month intensive program, participants will come away with a better appreciation for chessed (volunteerism) and a deeper connection to the Jewish Homeland and its people.
